Juris is so petite, it was the first time I saw her in person, very soft-spoken and very calm seems like she never hurried or have been pressured in her entire life that’s how calm she is.

I like Juris’ voice, as Alvin C says, “ang lamig ng boses, nakakainlove”, o di ba? Isa pala siyang avid fan. I like MYMP but I wish they’ll have more original songs in the future.

The concert started around 9pm last Saturday and their first song was “Waiting In Vain” which is my favorite from all of their revivals. I actually hoped that it wasn’t sang first, I wished they had special intro to that song where I would have time to say “Oh my gosh, that’s my favorite”.

Then of course the song “A Little Bit” stirred up the crowd, as it was their first hit song. Then followed by many revival songs like “Huwag Mo Nang Itanong Sa Akin”, “Kailan”, “Sa Kanya”, “Nakapagtataka”.

So they also revived songs like “Crazy for You”, “Too Many Walls”, “Especially For You”, “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now” which reminds me of Mannequin movie, then “I’ll Never Get Over You Getting Over Me”, “Love Moves In Mysterious Ways”. All these songs are kinda nice to hear again but give you an ounce of oldie feeling. Juris sounds great reviving these songs though pero sabi nga niya um-OA daw sila sa dami ng revivals nila.

She also sang “So Perfect”, as she said she was nervous to sing because she composed it, audience applaud it. When I heard the song “Get Me” reminds me of our climb to Mt Guiting-Guiting, one of the guys who climbed with us said he composed that song, hinde ko alam kung seryosong siya nga.

Overall, we had a good feeling after the concert, worth the money we paid for it, better than Regine’s concert (months ago) hehe. Juris and Chin did some duets but they are just alright, I actually don’t like them singing a duet together
