… is quite far from the train station, it’s a 15-min walk and if taken everyday, would not be bad for our daily exercise. We take trains going to the City and travelling in different routes. Via Granville is the best option since it has limited stops and can get you to the city in 40 to 50 minutes time, while via Bankstown or Regents Park is 10 minutes later.
The nearness of our place to almost everything is what I like best. No hassles going to the mall, library, church, post office, and plaza where different shops, supermarkets and wet markets are located. Hospital, medical centres and police station are also nearby.
Neighbours are courteous and friendly. They smile and greet you a lot. One time I went to the groceries and the cashier greeted me “Hi, how are you today?”, I smiled back and said fine. I don’t know if I should really say something. Then after paying, she uttered “See you later”. I went back home, while going upstairs I was greeted “Hi, how are you doin?” by a neighbor, and I just realize that they are really accustomed to this greeting thing.
